Researh on e-Learning and ICT in Education: Technological,

Pedagogical and Instructional Issues

Springer will publish a new book entitled “Research on e-learning and ICT in Education: Technological, Pedagogical and Instructional Issues” . This book welcomes contributions based on selected full papers presented at the 7th Pan-Hellenic Conference with International Participation "ICT in Education" (HCICTE 2010), organized by the Department of Social and Educational Policy, University of Peloponnese, Greece and the Hellenic Association of ICT in Education (HAICTE).

This book aims to include papers covering technical, pedagogical, organizational, instructional, as well as policy aspects of ICT in Education and e-Learning . Special emphasis is given to applied research relevant to the educational practice guided by the educational realities in schools, colleges, universities and informal learning organizations. In a more generic scope, this volume aims to encompass current trends, perspectives, and approaches determining e-Learning and ICT integration in practice, including learning and teaching, curriculum and instructional design, learning media and environments, teacher education and professional development, etc.

 

Manuscripts

•All papers should be written in English. Authors are kindly requested to rework on their manuscripts by enhancing the theoretical and/or research framework, including new results, if there are any and, finally, changing anything that could improve the quality of the paper presented at HCICTE10.

•Manuscripts should follow the guidelines suggested. Authors should use this paper format to prepare their manuscript . There is a page limit for manuscripts, including authors' information, abstract (no more than 200 words), tables, figures, references, etc.

•Authors should follow the references' format (APA style), in the body of the manuscript and in the references section, at the end of the paper as well. Every reference should be clearly indicated in the text and should be present at an alphabetical order in the references section.

Submission deadline: December 30, 2010

Author's Notification: February 10, 2011

Final Camera-Ready Submission: March 10, 2010
